Author Phase One is back with his new release, the IQ180. This is a digital back that an image sensor, display and associated electronics in a removable module that fits placed on the back of a body of medium format cameras, as the first phase is controlled by Mamiya. 53.9mm x 43.4mm size, this new digital background of a 80-megapixel CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) sensor.
The IQ180 starts at the end of April 2011. The IQ160 and IQ140 is available in the next months.
The IQ180 will cost $ 43,990. Phase One says it will start an upgrade program provides attractive to the previous P-series back, and also an exchange program for owners of other brands.
